# Payment Handle

The Telr Payment app’s **Payment Handle** feature allows users to create and share easily memorable and shareable payment handles. You can generate payment handles using your business name as a unique identifier and share them on any messaging platform.

## Generating a payment handle

1. Open the Telr Merchant app on your mobile device.

2. Tap **Create Your Payment Handle** on the home page.

3. In the Payment Handles modal, enter your unique payment short link in the following format: `cf.pay/<business_name>`. For example, `cf.pay/@dream11`.

4. Tap **Proceed** to generate the payment handle.

5. Tap **Preview** to view the payment link form.

6. Tap **Share Now** and share it with customers via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or any other messaging platform.

Customers can enter the amount (if it is not pre-set) and complete the payment when they click the link. You will receive real-time payment notifications after the payment is completed.
