# Overview

> Manage COD effectively with Telr's One Click Checkout

Cash on Delivery (COD) is one of the most widely used payment methods in Indian e-commerce, often accounting for over 70% of orders. It builds trust—especially among new users—by allowing payment only at the time of delivery.

Telr’s One-Click Checkout provides powerful tools to help you manage COD efficiently, reduce losses from Return to Origin (RTO), and improve delivery success rates.

## How COD works with Telr?

Setting up and managing COD with Telr is simple:

* **Order confirmation** – When a customer selects COD at checkout, Telr records the payment mode as **Cash on Delivery** with a **SUCCESS** status.
* **Order status** – The order appears as **PENDING** in Shopify. For custom integrations, use webhooks to monitor and update the order status.

## Manage COD with Telr

Use the Telr Dashboard to customise COD operations based on your business goals:
